Digital Storytelling workshop

16th October 2017

The Rima Digital Storytelling Workshop may have just concluded, but we now have a fun challenge for everyone to take up.

Endeavouring to show the variety of storytelling and communication methods accessible to all in this day and age, Rima's freshly-concluded Digital Storytelling Workshop took place last weekend, under the tutorship of journalist Francesca Vitalini and film director Dagmawi Yimer.

The workshop offered a unique opportunity for participants to learn about and improve their skills at video-making through the simple use of a device most of us own: the smartphone.

Participants were fist introduced to the virtual world of communication and then asked to produce video presentation of themselves, to go around Valletta to make video, to edit, with the help of the tutors the same videos with comments and music.

But, we're not done yet.

Let's move on to some homework, shall we? You are hereby challenged to make a video on this subject:

"Malta: tell us what your island means for you. Use a colour, and use objects."

We look forward to receiving your videos, and to posting them on our website once they're selected! Thank you.
